The Automated TICKETING
facility of SITA provides the automation required for the computer
generation of passenger tickets and sales reports. It is in full compliance
with IATA standards for Transitional Automated Tickets (TAT) or Off-Premise
Transitional Automated Tickets (OPTAT) for airline offices and travel
agencies. It also complies with IATA recommendations for ATB2 automated
tickets and boarding pass printing. Associated modules provide sales
and management reports and financial data interface with regional
BSPs as well as the end user financial data applications. Multiple
currencies are also acommodated by the system.
TICKETING is fully interfaced with GABRIEL and AIRFARE and is
offered as a supplementary service which supports multiple printer
types, using either pre-printed or computer generated ticket numbers
with either a single form feed or continuous form feed tickets,
according to customer preference..
